The museum\u2019s collection covers the Mahdist era, displaying the Khalifa\u2019s personal belongings and artifacts detailing the history of that period.<\/p><p><strong>Sheikan Museum<\/strong><\/p><p>Located in El Obeid, Western Sudan (North Kordofan State), the museum was established in 1965. It houses artifacts spanning various eras, from the Stone Age to the Funj Sultanate, with a special emphasis on the relics of the Battle of Sheikan.<\/p><p>Visiting hours are consistent with those of the National Museum.<\/p><p><strong>Sultan Ali Dinar Palace Museum<\/strong><\/p><p>Located in El Fasher, Darfur region (Western Sudan). The palace itself is considered a historic architectural masterpiece.
